Romanticism in Perspective: Texts, Cultures, Histories
A New Interdisciplinary Series from Macmillan (UK) and St. Martin’s (US)
Romanticism in Perspective undertakes a new assessment of romanticism. Its scope is world-wide (European, British, American, African, Asian) and its goal is broad: “to capture the special spirit of Romanticism as conceived in its historical and contemporary contexts, the revivals, renewals, re-evaluations, the original, contentious, and unexplored.” Each volume will be a work of original research, not to exceed 80,000 words.
